When it comes to design, I love to break rules. I love to create unexpected color palettes. I love to break up grids. And I really love to use Capture products on projects other than traditional Capture albums. For this layout, I used all of my favorite new Capture products to document my fun bachelorette party this past Fall.
To juxtapose the sharp angles of the squares and rectangles, I used circular embellishments including stickers and die cuts from the Waterfall pack.
I am in love with the latest Capture release! What are your favorite products from the collection?
Have you had the opportunity to incorporate Attach Me Stickers into your Capture albums yet? They are a must-have for any crafter looking to add additional pages or memorabilia to their books without having to punch any holes!
For this spread, I used the Attach Me stickers to secure a mini layout featuring a Fresh Cut Snippet embellished with journaling phrases and Spice Market metal shapes.
I love the way the colors of the emerald + seafoam Attach Me stickers complement the colors in the mini layout so well! Mixing and matching is my favorite way to go.
You can find all of the Attach Me stickers in our shop here!
I love a fresh start, so I thought I would capitalize on the beginning of a fresh and exciting new year by making a 2014 introductory page for my Capture album. I used a Fresh Cut Desgner Journal Insert and embellished it with a bunch of my favorite embellishments from the same line.
For the word “fourteen,” I used yellow letter stickers from the Fresh Cut Wqterfall Pack. I also incorporated die cuts and transparencies, Snippets, vellum tape stickers, title stickers, and the paper flower kit to bring the whole design together. I think it’s important to remember that not every page in your scrapbook needs to have photos. Sometimes a simple title and a sentence can work just as well to convey a message as a traditional layout!
S U P P L I E S
As much as I loved (and continue to love!) the last Capture release, this latest collection has me positively SMITTEN. The bright colors, the fun phrases, the new embellishments…I can’t get enough!
The wood veneer phrases are always a classic staple, whether they’re painted or left plain.
Layering big and small patterns is one of my favorite ways create visual interest and boost the amount of colors I can squeeze into a single page! ( I love color.)
The printed tape rolls are bound to be a hit! Here I ripped off a strip and filled in the date using a black pen.
Stay tuned for the full reveals of Capture and our other latest releases next week!
