Waleska: The Knee Highs collection seems very girly (and pink!) at first glance but I was happy to discover plenty of colors and patterns that I could use for scrapping my boys. On this layout, I mixed 3 fun and bright patterned papers, removed some of the shapes to add some interest and dimension (my favorite thing to do, in case you haven’t noticed ;)) then embellished with banners, doilies and photo corners. Finally, I couldn’t resist adding those super cute birdies, which worked very well with my pictures.

Create a project using a craft knife or scissors to cut around the designs on patterned paper.

  1. Happy NSD!!!! LOVE this challenge, fussy cutting is ony of my favorite techniques! I often purchase papers just for this reason! BG has so many papers that are perfect for this technique.

I follow your page on FB. Kimberly Rennie

  2. I am totally in love with Bowties collection! And here is my LO I cerated with it for this challenge -http://www.colorfulmemories-protea.blogspot.com/2013/05/working-hard.html

I also “liked” BG’s page on FB.

  3. This design is incredible! You definitely know how to keep a reader amused.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well,
almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job. I really loved what you had to say, and
more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
