I have become a little obsessed with arrows and thought they would make cute food toppers for Valentine’s Day. I came up with a super quick and easy way to make them using BasicGrey’s True Love collection!
These can be modified for any size treat. Here I used flat toothpicks for little, bite-sized Rice Krispies treats. You could also go bigger with a trimmed bamboo skewer or lollipop stick.
Using a paper cutter or scissors, trim strips from ‘Giddy’ patterned paper at desired width. For this small toothpick version, I cut the strips around 3/4 inches wide.
Cut the strips into 1.5 inch pieces and trim the top and bottom along the patterned lines as shown.
All this is left to do is glue a flat toothpick centered to each with an extra strength glue stick.
For my Rice Krispie treat hearts, I used the regular recipe and substituted 1/4 of the marshmallows with pink marshmallows. You could also add a tiny bit of food coloring or sprinkles or just keep them classic. Cut out with a mini heart cookie cutter once set.
The chipboard shapes with this line are beautiful, and I used one of the hearts for a quick label.
Happy Heart Day!

I totally agree with you. I always prefer mineral makeup rather than traditional makeup.
