With Christmas behind us, we now venture into Valentines Day…I thought that I would use the Lucille collection to show how you create a card for a friend, just to tell them how much they mean to you..this could be given on Valentines Day, but in my case well I would just share this any day.
I trim down a piece of light blue pattern paper from the 6 x 6 paper pad, inked up the Delicate Flower stamp with Soft Pool ink and stamped over the piece of pattern paper, cutting a V into one end of the pattern paper.
I trimmed another piece of pattern paper from the paper pad, adhering this to the light blue pattern paper, stamping on the other side the lady from the Sew Perfect stamp set with black ink. Taking it to the sewing machine and adding a stitch line down the pattern paper.
Adding a vintage button at the base of the stitched line with mini glue dots.
Trimming down another piece of pattern paper from the paper pad to cover the front of a standard size card.
Cut a piece of white card stock, ink up the stamp Love is the Thread that Binds Us with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and stamp onto white card stock.
I then decided for a fun touch to sew around the front of the card, using different stitches that were on my sewing machine.
Adhering all the elements to the front of the card and punching out a red heart to complete the card.
I just love anything vintage and this line I adore. I hope you have fun viewing the stepped out tutorial today.
Enjoy your day!
