The Season of giving is upon us and I am slowly getting on top of my gift buying preparations. I love to personalize my gift wrapping to make it a bit more special for those who will open them.
Of course I had to use pieces from the Aspen Frost collection to further emphasize the Christmas theme. For my first gift I created a homemade snowflake by cutting thin strips of Satin Sashes pattern paper, trimming them and folding them in half and stapling the end together. I then stretched it to the desired shape and glued the ends onto a small circle scrap to form the snowflake. I then layered on some punched circles and punched snowflakes to finish it off.
My second present I decorated a large glassine bag by wrapping Strudel pattern paper around the whole bag and then added a ribbon and envelope from the Mini Envelopes pack to finish off. Quick and simple!
Lastly I grabbed a large jar which I will fill with some homemade chocolates closer to Christmas. I created a tag using Copper Kettles and Cherried Noses pattern paper then layered over two envelopes from the Mini Envelopes pack. I added gold glitter to a mini peg to hold all the pieces together then attached it to the ribbon to finish off.
I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and fabulous 2013!
