During this time of holiday hustle and bustle, many of us don’t find the extra few minutes to sit down and create something. Until now! We’ll be sharing extra sketches with you this month so that you can carve out some essential time for y-o-u and any projects you’re looking to tackle.
Today’s extra inspirational sketch was created by BG sketch artist Susan Stringfellow. Haven’t tackled your holiday cards yet? Now’s your chance!
Believe | Shari Carroll
BasicGrey card artist Shari Carroll used today’s sketch to create a simply stunning card worthy of anyone on your holiday card list! Shari notes, “ I absolutely LOVE the Aspen Frost collection and have been playing with it for awhile making cards and such. This sketch allowed me to use scraps of the paper and left over stickers to create a holiday card. I created a panel with cut out circles… but if you notice, not every circle is cut out. I wanted to add some dimension by stamping the pine bough and adding cut out snowflakes. From there I filled in each circle with a fun element, either a sticker or button. To finish things off, I added the Title “Believe” and some glitter glue for extra sparkle.”
Happy Holidays!
