A new month means a new guest designer here on the BG blog. Each month, we bring you a guest designer share their use of BasicGrey and inspire you to try something new.
We’d like to welcome and introduce you to Ronda Palazzari as our guest designer for October 2012.
Ronda is an Author, mixed media Artist, Scrapbook Designer, and an Instructor living in the burbs of Denver. Her first book of Art Layers with North Light Publishing/F&W Media was released in March 2012. She has published in several magazines and idea books including Artful Blogging, Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends, and Somerset Magazines. She’s best known for combining her mixed-media techniques with scrapbooking, but Ronda is one to follow because you never know if she will be sewing or getting messy with paints; her craft changes day-to-day. She continues to teach worldwide as well as providing inspiration and telling her dorky stories on her blog HelpMeRonda.
Today we’re sharing the first project Ronda has created for us combining several of our recent collections.
Connections | Ronda Palazzari
Ronda notes, “I had this photo of one of my besties Jessi & I both holding our cameras and sharing with each other. It struck me how friendships develop out of these little connections. When I saw the 50 Pence paper I knew immediately it was perfect for this page for we both love that soft, vintage, Austin like time period that was reflected in this paper. I added some gesso and watercolor crayons to the background and then layered in the bits of Soleil & Clippings because the colors were perfect.”
Thanks for sharing your time and talents with us, Ronda. We’re excited to having you joining us this month!
