BasicGrey Guest Designer : Lexi Bridges

A new month means a new guest designer here on the BG blog.  Each month, we bring you a guest designer share their use of BasicGrey and inspire you to try something new.

We’d like to welcome and introduce you to Lexi Bridges as our guest designer for September 2012.

Lexi lives in Missouri with her high school sweetheart husband of almost 13 years and two precious, busy boys. And a cat she has lovingly named “devil cat”.  She’s a stay at home, homeschooling momma that plays with paper and glue in the basement, often in the wee hours when the house is quiet. She has always loved to get crafty and has been scrapbooking about 4 years. She has been published several times in a variety of scrapbooking magazines and is currently a Garden Girl at Two Peas in a Bucket and on the design team of October Afternoon. In her spare time (yeah, right!) you might find her in a junk store or flea market.

Today we’re sharing the first project Lexi has created for us using our Clippings collection.

Pick A Pear | Lexi Bridges

Lexi says, “I tried to convince my littlest that the pears weren’t ready. You can see from the look on his face momma was right ;) I think the Clippings line really gives a fall feeling. I took pieces from the garland and cut out leaves. The background paper is from the Paper Cottage line, but strategic placement of elements covers up the cake stand and flower images.”

Thanks for sharing your time and talents with us, Lexi.  We’re thrilled to having you joining us this month!

    • Hi, Denise!

I’m not sure if I understand your question, but if you’re wanting to share your work made with BasicGrey, we’d love it if you posted it to our flickr pool!

Let me know if you have any additional questions!
