CHA Summer 2012 Sneak Peek : Lucille

Like pieces of fabric sewn together with care, time-tested and much-loved, Lucille by BasicGrey proves that variety is the spice of life. Pull that old dress out of the trunk, dust it off, darn it up and grab your kitten heels, because it’s time to pattern your next project, perfectly.

  1. Love this…..looks like the patterns that I used when my grandma taught me sew over 50 years ago!! Thanks for putting a smile on my face with the happy memories and the great collection.

  2. I have asked several companies to come up with a collection that was based on old sewing patterns. AND YOU DID!!! LOVE IT!

  3. Those sewing patterns totally take me back to my childhood! My mom made ALL of our clothes, and hers, too! Everything about this collections says vintage and pretty — love it!

  4. Of all the new releases, this by far is the best one. Reminds me of my mom’s sewing room…..she’s been gone 10 years now from Alzheimer’s. Thanks for helping me remember her better days. :o)

  5. I’m another one who has memories of my Nana when I see this collection!! When we would stay with her and Pop during our Christmas (summer for us West Aussies) holidays she would bring out a case of fabric and if there was nothing we liked we’d go shopping for a pattern and fabric for her to make us something. She also spent many hours sewing aprons and other things for the Ladies Guild fetes or stalls.

  6. What a great collection. Love the colors and great line of embellishments to use with the patterned papers. Another great job Basic Grey for us to use. Thanks.!!!

  7. I think I might still have that dress pattern LOL!!! I remember my mom having all those dress patterns and I would love to do some layouts of my mom sewing on this paper collection.

  8. I cannot wait to get my hands on this collection and use it to scrap about my very talented mom who made all my clothes when I was growing up!!

  9. Nice post. I get a hold of out something harder on diverse
online pages everyday. Most commonly its stimulating to study content off their writers and exercise
something there. Id opt to apply certain with all that the

  10. I used to be recommended this website by way
of my cousin. I’m no longer sure whether or not this publish is written via him as no one else understand such unique about my trouble.
