Here we are on the last weekday of June which can only mean one thing – we have another round of flickr Friends to reveal!
Each month, we provide a theme for you to use on your projects and then upload to our flickr pool. At the end of each month, we select a few of our favorites to post here on our blog and send them some BasjcGrey goodies as our way of saying thanks.
The theme for this month was “chevrons”. Hello trendy pattern ! We’re seeing chevrons everywhere as of late, including our PB&J collection. We couldn’t wait to see how you interpreted this month’s theme!
Without further ado, some of our favorites from our flickr pool using this month’s theme :
We couldn’t choose which of these two layouts created by Topazork1 was our favorite so we made it easy on ourselves and picked both! We love how she used chevrons so differently – and effectively! – on each one. In her first layout she used them to draw attention to her photos while in the second they’re utilized more as a design element.
This stamped card from Kailash29 used a chevron background stamp as the base of this gorgeous card. A perfect choice as it doesn’t distract from the rest of the surrounding design but instead simply adds to it.
A BIG thank you to all of you who uploaded your projects – we love being able to feature your work here on the BG blog. Winners keep an eye on your flickr mail as we’ll be in touch shortly to arrange your prizes. Look for July’s theme to be posted next week!
