Weekly Challenge : Create A Multi-Photo Layout

Big Boy Undies | Kim Jeffress

THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE : Create a multi-photo layout.

This week, I’ve asked BasicGrey design team member Kim Jeffress to participate in our challenge.  Feel free to interpret this week’s challenge however you’d like!

Kim explains, “In my scrapping I like to record the big and little things in our lives. Recently my youngest had graduated from nappies to wearing undies. It took a while so I wanted to celebrate the occasion with a layout. I snapped lots of photos one day and I wanted to use these on my layout. Here on my layout I have used 4 small photos and the New fun PB&J collection as I thought they suited the bright happy photos of my son perfectly.I also mixed in a bit of  the What’s Up collection too.  As I mentioned in an earlier post my new go to technique is using pages from the 6 x 6 pad for fast and eye catching designs on my pages.  I have used one whole and another simply cut in half from the 6 x 6 pad to create the basic design for my layout. It was then easy to layer and cluster embellishments over the top of these to complete my layout.”

We can’t wait to see what you create for this week’s challenge! Leave a comment below with a link to your project and we’ll select one commenter at random to receive a collection pack of your choice. Comment must be posted by May 24, 2012 at 11:59p MST.

If you upload your layout to your blog or online gallery, be sure to also upload it to our new BasicGrey flickr page so that other BG fans can find your work easily.

  1. I like this layout for so many reasons. Little photos really help to get multiple photos. I like the little photos, i like the design, i like the idea – my toddler is moving into undies too, i never thought to scrap it. TFS!
