National Scrapbooking Day 2012 : Vintage BasicGrey Challenge

A Little Bit Country | Megan Klauer

CHALLENGE : Create a layout that includes vintage BasicGrey product.

Some call themselves hoarders.  Others call themselves collectors.  Whatever the case may be, if you have a stash of BasicGrey in your paper crafting arsenal – this challenge is for you!

BasicGrey design team member Megan Klauer created the fantastic layout above.  She explains, ”If you’re like me, you have a nice little stash of papers and supplies that have long been retired. You know the ones: you just can’t get rid of them, cause you know you’ll need them someday.  Today, I challenge you to dig into that pile! Pull out your favorite “vintage” BasicGrey goodies and create something fabulous. I had the 6×6 Obscure paper pack & die cut shapes since I went to my first Scrapbook Expo in Chicago way back when. This collection has always been one of my favorites by BasicGrey & I was really excited about getting it out once again.”

We can’t wait to see what you create for this challenge! Leave a comment below with a link to your project and we’ll select one commenter at random to receive a $25 gift certificate to shop at basicgrey.comComment must be posted by May 11, 2012 at 11:59p MST.

If you upload your layout to your blog or online gallery, be sure to also upload it to our new BasicGrey flickr page so that other BG fans can find your work easily.
