SPECIAL GUEST NSD CHALLENGE : Create a layout with a mixed font title.
We’re thrilled to welcome special guest Kelly Noel to our National Scrapbooking Day celebration this year! Kelly has created this layout and challenge just for the BasicGrey blog.
Kelly notes, “I fell in love with this PB&J collection as soon as I opened the package. The colors are so bright and fun and right up my alley! I adore this photo of my two boys playing in our aunt and uncle’s big backyard while we were on vacation last summer and it went perfectly with the PB&J papers. I love to mix up fonts to make interesting titles. For this layout, I used the PB&J chipboard alpha and combined it with the PB&J Alphabet stickers along with a word I cut using my Silhouette. By placing all the title words into a punched circle, it really has a nice put together look.”
We can’t wait to see what you create for this challenge! Leave a comment below with a link to your project and we’ll select one commenter at random to receive a $25 gift certificate to shop at basicgrey.com. Comment must be posted by May 11, 2012 at 11:59p MST.

My take for Mixed fonts: I used Marakesh line for Morocco lo and one BG font from this line with some other chipboard font

Awesome idea and I paired it with the stitching challenge. You’ll find my completed page toward the bottom of the blog post, in order of what got done this weekend!

The alphas in your collection packs (of which I own “a few” – ha!) – are ideal for mixing and matching. Thanks for the challenge!
The mix font looks awesome, glad I could use it!!!
