Weekly Challenge : Create A Project With Scallops

Concentrated Artist | Tiffany Tillman

THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE : Create A Project With Scallops.

This week, I’ve asked our BasicGrey design team member Tiffany Tillman to participate in our challenge.  Feel free to interpret this week’s challenge however you’d like!

Tiffany notes, ”I’m in love with scallops shapes in small, medium or large sizes. They could be Inverted, overlapped, and anything in between. Scallop strips help me use my paper scraps or add a touch of color and contrast to my page. And all that’s required is some scallop-edged scissors, or a circle punch or (for us digital gals) a hard-round brush tip found in the Brush tool. What could be easier?”

We can’t wait to see what you create for this week’s challenge! Leave a comment below with a link to your project and we’ll select one commenter at random to receive a collection pack of your choice. Comment must be posted by April 19, 2012 at 11:59p MST.

If you upload your layout to your blog or online gallery, be sure to also upload it to our new BasicGrey flickr page so that other BG fans can find your work easily.

I went with a scalloped edge die cut on my card, which you can see here http://kanatanewfpapercrafts.blogspot.ca/2012/04/farm-fresh-friday-challenge-classic.html

  1. Love Tiffany’s layout (little one is growing! ), been following her work for a good while… so inspiring!

  2. Scallops are so feminine to me! Great for most of the cards I make. Thanks for the challenge and the opportunity to win!

  3. You can also promote your contemporary art using social media sites and services like FaceBook, Twitter, and Google Plus. Regardless of how you promote your art it is important to have fun and spread the word about your work in a positive way.
