This week, I’ve asked BasicGrey design team member Georgia Keays to participate in our challenge.

Georgia says, “One of my best friends recently moved to the other side of the country. My kids were writing letters to my friend’s kids and I thought it might be nice to include a layout for my friend as well.  When I was deciding what product to use the “you are a friend indeed” rub on from the Picadilly rub on book really caught my eye, so that was my starting point.  I chose the Refrigerator Magnet paper as the flowers matched my photo, the Wrought Iron Skillet to pull out the blue from Refrigerator Magnet and Flap Jack Breakfast to highlight the yellow from my rub on.  I’ve used one of my favourite techniques on this layout, transferring rub ons onto acetate and then using foam tape to layer them with other embellishments.”

We can’t wait to see what you create for this week’s challenge! Leave a comment below with a link to your project and we’ll select one commenter at random to receive a collection pack of your choice. Comment must be posted by January 26, 2012 at 11:59p MST.
If you upload your layout to your blog or online gallery, be sure to also upload it to our new BasicGrey Flickr page so that other BG fans can find your work easily.

CONGRATULATIONS to our winner selected at random from the comments we received by the noted deadline :

    • not a stretch at all Hilde and a beautiful page. I had to laugh at intro though, in fact your dogs have a lot of behaviours in common with my kids by the sounds of things. Thanks for playing along!
