Alexes Brown: Well hello there! I hope you all are having a fantastic day!
I’m really excited to be here and I’m really excited to share this project with you! It was one of those projects that came along so naturally and what I ended up with was nothing like I planned. But all in all I think it worked out perfectly!
One of my favorite things about this album is the cover! I love doilies mixed with lots of layers and awesome patterns and colors. Add in some chipboard and stickers and you have the perfect messy cover!
Really the whole inspiration for this album came from this little piece of flair that I attached onto the butterfly. It says “Our Story” and I thought using this book would be a perfect way to document all the major milestones my husband and I have had throughout our lives.
Then this little poem came into my head and I just decided to run with it!
I really loved how there were the perfect number of lines in the poem to describe my little family!
But… There’s one more page, and if you want to see what it is, check it out on my blog!!!
Alexes Brown: Hello there! I’m pretty excited to be here today with you to share yet another great Capture two page spread! I also want to show you guys how easy it is it blend together a few of the most recent BasicGrey collections.
Today I’ll be using Fresh Cut and Mon Ami, two really fun but different lines. Normally when I scrapbook I tend to stick with one collection so when I got this assignment it was a bit of a challenge, but after I got started it was super fun and easy!
Basically I started by picking a color scheme that incorporated the two lines. After a while of thinking, I decided on navy, grey, teal and yellow. I’m really pleased with how it turned out too!
The vellum tape stickers from the Fresh Cut collection is so easy and fun to use! I love the fact that the colors are really vibrant and add that special touch to your page!
These little wood veneer words are seriously the coolest. They give such a fun look while also adding dimension and texture to my page.
Thanks for checking in and hope you all have a fantastic day!
Kim Price: I am head over heels for the new BasicGrey Spice Market collection; everything from the color combinations to the intricate patterns drew me in from the moment I first saw it. I can see myself creating with this collection over and over, with a different look every time.
Today I want to share a layout which features some hidden journaling behind my photograph using the fun Capture Attach Me stickers. I’ve simply added two of the self adhesive tabs to the back of my photo using them as “hinges”, and adhered them to my layout. I’ve then added a third tab in a coordinating color to assist in opening and closing the journaling.
I’ve also used a couple of Painted Stamped Metal Shapes in the top left corner adding that little bit of “extra special” to my page.
For my title I have used the coordinating Spice Market Printed Chipboard Alpha, carefully adding a black border around each letter using a permanent archival quality brush marker for some added definition, and replacing the letter “O” from “love” with a sweet little flower chipboard embellishment from the Printed Chipboard Shapes pack.
Thanks for dropping by today, I hope you enjoyed some of my ideas using the Attach Me stickers.

Tina Aszmus: What I love most about participating in a Blueprint is that it doesn’t have to follow along the inspiration exactly. My favorite part of this Blueprint are the photos that are cut at an angle with blocks of color.
I went the minimal route and chose to do just a row of angled cuts on a 12 x 12 layout using a few photos and patterned papers from the Capture collection. I used the Today Was stamp as my title because the scale was perfect and fit nicely between the angles.
