Kelly Purkey: Hi everyone, it’s Kelly Purkey and today I’m sharing a peek into a Capture album that I created using my Mon Ami collection.
I am a big fan of the Capture albums and the pocket page protector system, it makes it really easy to get things documented in a fast way. It’s especially great for using on travels, which I did here with a trip to Austin, TX.
I had saved a lot of memorabilia from the trip like business cards and menus, along with some cool greeting cards and postcards I’d purchased there. Basically a ton of paper came home with me!
The pockets made it super easy to slip things into and I added things in with the great Attach-Me stickers.
The Mon Ami line is perfect for using on travel projects, the stickers in the collection really say it all sometimes. I hope you’re enjoying using Mon Ami on your own adventures!

Kelly Purkey: Everyday moments are some of my favorite pages to scrap, especially when they involve friends, and even better when they involve lattes! Mon Ami is a great “everyday” collection, perfectly suited for all of those “little things” that you don’t want to forget.
I love the layered look and really enjoyed creating a small flower garden across the bottom of my photo. One tip: when layering stickers with foam dots, powder the back of the stickers first so they don’t stick to the layout when you put it in a page protector.
Are you getting excited for Monday’s blog party? A little bird told me there’s going to be another announcement this Friday. Any guesses?
If you arrange a selection of 2” circles, punched from a variety of Spice Market patterned papers (34 of them, to be exact), tuck in a few painted metal medallions, and wrap up the design with machine-sewn details, you’ll have a contemporary paper wreath as beautiful as the one Lisa Dickinson created here! What a wonderful foundation to her page, don’t you think?
Lisa tucked in a few transparency die cuts behind her title and we love how they’ve added a bit of color to the center design, but can been seen through to the layer underneath.
Lisa cut out the word “air” from her Silhouette and combined it with printed chipboard letters to create her bold, oversized title. We are so pleased to offer you this cutting file FREE! The zip file contains a pdf, .dxm and .svg files that are compatible with Silhouette, Boss Kut, Pazzle and other leading electronic die cutters that can read these file formats. Enjoy this freebie on us!
