eye glass case

We love when we see crafters using our fabric in their latest projects and this find in our flickr pool is no exception.  This eye glass case made with our Origins collection fabric is perfectly practical!

Kimberlee – Congratulations on being selected as our Eye Spy feature this week! We’ll be sending you some BasicGrey product your way as our way of saying thanks.

When we first spied this project in our flickr pool, it was the photo that drew us in – gorgeous!  The way the girl’s painted face is mimicked in the use of embellishments is so clever.  What a great use of our Konnichiwa collection!

One of the things I never tire of is seeing the work of BasicGrey fans that live around the globe.  This layout from Azumi in Japan using our Olivia and Life of The Party collections is no exception!  With a great use of product and an amazing composition, I’m sure you’ll agree that this layout is a knockout.

pinwheels (51)_a

Why buy premade party decorations when you can make your own?  Especially when they turn out as fabulous as these pinwheels Laurel created for her son’s birthday party using our Life of the Party collection!

Laurel explains, “I used the same Life of the Partypaper that was used from the party invitations.  This paper is really great for pinwheels because it’s two sided, the front has a beautiful pattern and the backside is a solid bright coordinating color.  With pinwheels you see both sides and these pinwheels really show off this great collection.   This is my first time making pinwheels and I choose to do 6 inch squares.  They turned out quite large though so next time I’d like to experiment with varying the sizes with 2, 3, 4 & 5 inch squares.”
